Sesame Street Collaboration - Not only because of the brand’s ongoing collaboration with creative director Rihanna is selling out after the release. Not just because The Weeknd is paving the way for a new generation of shoppers. Not because the world's most influential people like Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid rushed there. But also because the brand is starting a new collection.

! You know, like Big Bird and Elmo and Cookie Monster, and everyone loves: Oscar the Grouch. (And of course with the cameo look from Slimey the Worm.)

The Litter's Choice is a three-part series of re-imagined Prevails based on Elmo, Oscar and Cookie Monster. Each pair features suede skins and nets from their color family.

Characters, but the highlight is the tongue. Each prevail has the signature eyes of each monster carved into the tongue. Cookie's eyes looked wild, Elmo sat on his bright orange nose, and Oscar's runny nose zigzag above. The small glow of their faces can be seen through the window at the heel.

Elmo and Cookie Monster are back in the suit. The red pair is covered by Elmo's eyes and nose, while Cookie's eyes appear on the blue pair. Each sneaker is lined with black leather and sits on a white sole.

Baskets are offered in black and white, with full-screen canvas prints, characters, and beautiful tone stripes.

A Bathing Ape's AAPE has teamed up with someone other than Sesame Street for their latest collaboration. Japanese streetwear manufacturers have used characters in a popular children's TV show as their last resort. Do you remember Elmo, Big Bird and Cookie Monster? Yes, they are now.

The line features a variety of printed T-shirts for children and adults, featuring the main gang of Sesame Street. Each shirt is printed with the Sesame Street logo as well as the ancient AAPE moon face. On one dress, the Muppets appear next to AAPER, a brand-like gorilla-like icon, as if they were all gathered for a street party. It's a combination that works better than you think. This decline is further evidence of AAPE’s interest in pushing boundaries and dreaming of unexpected collaboration.

It has been more than 50 years since Sesame Street first aired on American television. Since then, they have fascinated the audience. AAPE blue, black, white, purple and cookie jackets refer to this famous story and take the characters to a whole new hemisphere.

Did Muppets creator Jim Henson ever think his character would headline the streetwear line? Probably not, but we are glad they have.
