Sesame Street Guide - SCENES: Abby and Elmo greet the viewer as a hot potato in the game, using real potatoes. The games go by and Elmo loses every time, which makes him frustrated. He says it's the potato's fault, so they play with an extra large potato and another extra small one. He continues to lose every game and becomes increasingly frustrated, and Abby, feeling uncomfortable, leaves for lunch.
Telly stops by and learns about Elmo's problem. He tells Elmo that he remembers when he wasn't good at hot potato, but with a lot of practice he became a real expert at the game. So Telly helps him get better and they practice a "Rocky"-like montage with the rock song "Eye of the Potato" playing.

So Big Bird goes home and Maria stops him on the way to give him a scarf to keep him warm. Big Bird says the scarf will definitely come in handy in the cold. Now Freddy reappears and tries to convince Big Bird to move to the swamp. Freddy again shows Big Bird the advantages of living in the swamp as a bird, but Big Bird again rejects him.
Big Bird is now in his nest. Gordon comes over and gives him a blanket that should also keep him warm. Freddy then shows up again, but tells Big Bird again that he has to move to the rainforest. He takes Big Bird on a virtual tour again, and this time Big Bird doesn't reject him. He likes the rainforest and would like to live there, which of course surprises Gordon.
Big Bird has just finished things and now he is walking down the road to say goodbye to all his friends, thinking that they can come every day and play with him in the rainforest until he finds out that the rainforest is very far from the city. it comes every day. So Big Bird now sings to realize that Sesame Street is where he belongs, and after that Freddy tells him that he won't bother Big Bird anymore. Animation: The class plays with the class pet, Niblet. Now it's Gonnigan's turn to hold Niblet, but he's too scared to do so and disappears. Blogg then holds Niblet, but steals Blogg's wand and has to chase after Niblet, but crashes into a crayon picture on the wall that Niblet fell into. Blogg can't get in, so Spot shows him a video of the door to give him an idea. Abby draws a door in the drawing and they go in to hunt down Niblett who drew it...so Abby and Co. they have a hard time chasing him. Niblet continues to run into the hole, thinking he will never be seen again, but he is pulled out of his hole again. He returns the stick to Blogg and Gonnigan can finally hold Niblet.

Cartoon: Two duck detectives Ernie and Bert are called by Veronica Lampshank to investigate the strange behavior of her friend Malty, who claims to be a "Maltese duck". They disguise themselves as Veronica's sheep relatives to meet them by the lake. So they try to find out if Malti is really behaving strangely. Well, it turns out that Maltese is a black-bellied whistling duck and he was just pretending to be the Maltese duck to be his girlfriend Veronica.

She feels so happy because it is the first letter she received. Chris reads the letter to her because neither Elmo nor Abby can read.
